Water Engineering and Training Centre (P) Ltd. (WETC) is a service oriented organization, qualifying professional body with wide range of multidisciplinary experiences. It endeavors for the uplift of living condition of community by providing wholesome water for drinking and sanitation
purpose. WETC provides analytical, treatment, engineering, design, supervision & overall monitoring services in the field of water / wastewater. WETC exchanges testing methodologies with other similar services through training, research & development, symposium, publication of proceedings, periodicals etc.

The laboratory of WETC is the first and foremost well-equipped, outstanding and updated form in the private sector for rendering services to different governmental and non-governmental organizations. It provides them with findings and interpretations of water qualities, which have made on the basis of physiological, chemical, bacteriological, biological and biochemical profiles.

Water treatment and sanitation system improvement and monitoring is the another vital sector WETC is providing services. With its long time services in this sector we have achieved practical experiences that have boosted our confidence substantially.

In addition, WETC gives special attention in the capacity building of human resources and general public in the field of water related health, sanitation, awareness which is much lagged aspect in all the developing countries including Nepal. WETC offers capacity development training to the all ranges of people right from top-level personnel such as policy makers, however primary emphasis is given to the low level skill and unskilled personnel such as plumbers, water quality control & monitoring technical staffs, operational staffs of water treatment plants, water supply authorities, different water using as well as processing institutions to the beneficiary groups as water user groups, and field level supporting organizations.
